Brighton National Speed Trials
Posted on: August 3rd, 2011Britain’s oldest motor racing event returns to Brighton this September.
The event has been running since 1905 and promises a day of exciting races down Brighton’s famous quarter mile promenade. Expect to see vintage cars right up to the newest models, a perfect day for motor racing enthusiasts.

Shakedown Festival – Stanmer Park, Brighton
Posted on: August 3rd, 2011On the 17th September Stanmer Park will be hosting the hottest festival of the summer.
This one-day event will be offering some of the biggest names in music today, including Example, KissySellOut, Zane Lowe and Razorlight. As if these acts weren’t amazing enough, organisers have confirmed the UK’s number one sensation Ed Sheeran for the event too.
Tickets are just £35, with plenty of competitions running up to the event for free tickets and upgrades.

World Firework Championship – Blackpool
Posted on: August 2nd, 2011The world’s most incredible firework display comes to Blackpool’s seafront.
Once again the resort will be hosting the elite in firework shows across September. The skies will be filled as the finalist countries put on the most entertaining displays you will find. For a great family experience head down to the promenade on the selected dates from 7.30pm for build-up to the big event, with the show starting at 8.30pm.

Baby Monkeys at Blackpool Zoo
Posted on: August 2nd, 2011Blackpool zoo is growing each day as babies are arriving.
This year as been a big year for the monkeys as eleven primates were born! On top of this Blackpool is getting a new species of monkey all the way from Edinburgh zoo, shortly followed by a partner.
These new babies are extremely cute additions, so get down to Blackpool zoo before they are all grown up!

Brighton Comedy Festival in October

Joining them on the pebbled beaches of Brighton will be Ennio Marchetto, Lucy Porter, Jon Richardson, David O’Doherty, Phil Nichol and Brighton’s own Zoe Lyons plus too many more!
